Beauty Products In My Carry-On

No matter the destination I always have a carry-on when traveling. My bag is never bigger than my LV “Neverfull” but inside I always make sure to have three things with me: charger, passport, and my in flight beauty bag. I can’t live without any of those items however I have found my regime at 30,000 ft of high importance as I find myself on a plane more often. Traveling comes with my career and the conditions of the airplane aren’t the most hospitable place for your skin; it can cause your skin to feel dry, dehydrated, and dull which is why I find it necessary to have the best in-flight beauty regimen.

All airlines restrict passengers to carrying on liquid less than 3.4oz in a quart size bag which doesn’t give me much to pack considering how obsessed I am over skin but you really only need three steps: cleanse, hydrate and moisturize. It can be very simple. Before this you must vow to not wear makeup on board. I promise, your skin will thank you. No matter the season, you can use these products so I recommend you incorporate it in your routine at home as well.

Klorane Makeup Wipes – These gentle wipes are perfect for traveling. These gentle cleansing wipes will remove all traces of makeup. These wipes are alcohol, fragrance and paraben free so it will leave your skin feeling fresh and clean without striping the skin of your oils ands drying you out. They are perfect for sensitive skin.

Bioderma ABCDerm H2O – The “micelles” are attracted to dirt and oil so they are able to draw out impurities while also moisturizing the skin. This product is a must have and you only need cotton pads to apply. It comes in a travel size appropriate bottle and if you have little ones it is gently enough to cleanse their face too. For my at home regimen I use IT Cosmetics 3-in-1 Glow Tonic. Check it out here.

Sisley-Paris Black Rose Mask – This mask will change your life. Its the first mask (that I am aware is effective) that you don’t need to wash off which is perfect for traveling because you apply the translucent product and let it sit for 10-15, then wipe the remainig product off with a cotton pad or paper towel from the airplane restroom.

Eau Thermale Avene Skin Recovery Cream – I have tried tons of moisturizers and nothing compares to this cream. It is light, non-greasy and perfect for sensitive skin. I recommend only a dime seize amount as a little Cain go a long way. Ad this step to your daily routine applying morning and night. For those willing to splurge, I recommend this.

I don’t wear makeup during flight. However before landing I do a quick 10 minute look that is so easy and achievable for everyone.

Yves Saint Laurent Touché Eclat Concealer – This lightweight concealer is perfect for under eyes and any dark spots you want to cover but still keeping the face natural and fresh.

Charlotte Tilbury Lash Sculpt Brush – The perfect brow tint gel to get all your hairs in place and darken them. The brush is very small and precise so it is very effective when going for a natural ‘no makeup” makeup look.

Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff – Personally for my skin tone, I love pinks so for the cheeks the colors I choose are either puff or haze. These cream blushes are highly pigmented and easily applied with your finger. A lot goes a long way so build as you go.
